The ICAP Shipping team has an exceptional heritage in operations and logistics, from agency management to hands-on shipping expertise.

The Operations department comprises a team of nine brokers, including a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and three qualified sea-going officers, with experience in crude and product tankers, as well as dry and gas, plus a dedicated team dealing with demurrage and other claims.

Efficiency is vital to client success. ICAP Shipping organises its operations on a one-to-one basis, so that each client deals with one responsible, operational liaison manager. A senior team member handles all aspects of a fixture, from scheduling to collecting freights, ensuring an efficient working relationship, which saves time and promotes accuracy.
